The arrival of Tsukune Aono there was simply random, and his meeting with Moka Akashiya seemed to be predetermined by the events that happened in the future chapters, like him turning into a half-demon. I loved how they designed Youkai Academy to be just a simple, semi-huge building in the middle of nowhere, it gives the ambiance that it does really consist of demons (in their human forms) inside the place. XD But the author himself maintained the beauty of his art and continued to put up youkai references from all aspects. There were…how should I say this, lots of blood on the second half. The second season started off with Moka’s past and everything Fairy Tale-related, bringing more of a dark-toned genre. The first season was purely of comedy and lighthearted stuff and mostly focused on school life with your youkai friends. Well done, Ikeda-sensei! :3įans of this manga grew over the years – the first series had their anime adaptation and it even dragged more fans to their arsenal. The first series however, started on August 2004. (66.6, they really had to do that on purpose) This sequel of the main series had started November 2007 and went on for 6 years, much to my surprise. Rosario to Vampire II by Ikeda Akihisa has finally reached its conclusion on February 5, 2014, with the last chapter.
